Rolling bag vs. convertible bag on RS Village Italy tour

My husband and I will be going on the RS Village Italy tour in June and I am looking for advice on which bag to take, 21' rolling bag or convertible bag. We have both. I am mostly concerned with the number of stairs and amount of cobblestones between bus and hotels as far as the practicality of a rolling bag. Any advice?

Hi Karen. I took the tour a couple of years ago. If I am remembering right many hotels did have elevators. There were definately some stairs too on some streets. I had a backpack but many had rolling bags. Have a great time.
