Riva del Garda & the Dolomiti in the RAIN

Just arrived in Riva del Garda and it was beautiful today, but the forecast is for RAIN. We're here for 2 days and then going to the Dolomiti for 3 days. It's supposed to rain the whole time. We don't melt, but there is only so much outdoors we want to do. We do have a car. Any suggestions for things to do if the weather is nasty? Thanks :-)

An hour north by car is Bolzano with Otzi the Ice Man at the Archeological Museum. An hour south by car is Verona. Have fun!

So far the rain has held off but it’s supposed to be dreary the next few days. Tomorrow we head for Castelrotto.

I didn’t think we’d have time for the Ice Man on this trip, but maybe that can happen after all.

Does anyone have a recommendation for Trento? We could stop on the way.

We are doing Verona next week. I haven’t been there in 25 years so I’m looking forward to it.

Thanks for the help!

Stop near Rovereto instead, and have lunch at Isera, a tiny village facing Rovereto. Either De Tarczal winery or Casa del Vino della Vallagarina (fixed menu but a lot of wine choices).
