Does anyone know what's up with Ristorante del Giglio in Rome? I just tried to make a reservation online, and their website says only: "Get ready... Something really cool is coming soon."
We're going to be in Rome in a couple of months, and had hoped to have our first "We're in Rome!!!" dinner there the day we arrive.
Jane, I too saw that notice online. Another site said “temporarily closed.” Remodeling? We also have enjoyed this restaurant in the Termini area. It was 3 minutes from our hotel. My husband always enjoys their Lasagne. It is a popular place that attracts Priests & Nuns! ;) Great cuisine. Hope it reopens by the time you visit.
Janis, me too! The last time we were in Rome we were never able to visit them, so we had reservations for our 2020 trip. You know, the one that didn't happen?
I don't even remember what we've had there, but we've always enjoyed the food as well as the experience. And it's in easy walking distance of the Aberdeen, our favorite hotel.
