if you are taking the tour venice florence rome can you skip part of the tour to do your own thing. the second day in venice for example i would like the whole day on my own

ronnie, I've found that Rick's tours are very flexible in that regard. If you'd like to skip the tour activities for one day (which of course you're paying for), that shouldn't be a problem. Just be sure to let the Guide know. When is the tour taking place? Do you know who the Guide is? Happy travels!
