Currently, Rick Steves requires Covid testing within 48 hours of the first day of one’s tour. If Italy drops the testing requirement for entry in the weeks ahead, will Rick Steves also drop the testing requirement for his Italy tours? Or would it be a scenario where even though Italy has dropped their testing requirements, that Rick Steves would continue to require testing for his tours? And will it make a difference whether they are Italy tours or another tour?
I don't think anyone here can answer that question other than with speculation. Your best bet is to contact the RS office (see Contact Us at the bottom of the page) since they are the only ones who can answer that.
Rick Steves is still requiring a negative test to go on the tour. Hopefully will find out where we can get tested before since we are going in early. Rick Steves requested, for us to contact first hotel for information.
