Rick Steves's Best of Italy book can be seen in The Equalizer 3 movie currently in theaters.
Equalizer is an action movie franchise starring Denzel Washington. He plays hit man/ex-CIA agent/God-like figure Robert McCall who is trying to bust a criminal enterprise.
The movie is set in Italy. Dakota Fanning plays a CIA agent who meets with McCall. In two scenes, she is carrying Rick's guidebook.
The producers must have chosen Rick's book because it is instantly recognizable.
In the film, Denzel lives in Atrani on the Amalfi Coast and there are scenes in Naples. When we were in Minori last year, they were setting up for a night scene in the church.
Looks like Robert McCall packs light too.

The irony is that immediately prior to our leaving for the theatre, I'd been working on some recent photos that we'd taken along the coast. Those included one of that arch shown in the nocturnal scene where RM kills the mob leader's younger brother. My wife and I had once shown the way there to a pair of young Berlin college students. Those 2 gals had just been fellow guests at a party hosted by our property manager up at his Torre village home (i.e. Path of the Lemons).
The movie credits apparently thank Maori. Hmm, perhaps that involved an interior scene or merely some gear storage? Dunno---I did not recognize that town anywhere in the visuals.
