We will be returning to Naples from Capri and have about 4 hours before we need to catch our train. Would this be enough time to do Rick Steves Walking Tour of Naples (minus arch museum)?
I am thinking of starting from the Ferry Port and walking up Toledo to the Spaccanapoli to the train station.
You can do at least part of it. There is so much see that you will have to have discipline to move along! Plot your course carefully and be open to grabbing a taxi to get to the station on time.
Where will you be storing your bags? Storage at the train station is easy, the port storage wasn't open when we were there last week. If you store your bags at the station, the new metro line 1 stop is outside of the train station (entrance along construction fence, just follow the signs) and will take you to a stop directly beneath the museum where you can begin the walk. A stop for pizza at the end is definitely worth it, just be sure they aren't closed during siesta. Love Naples, wear your money belt or put your wallet in an inside pocket and enjoy!
