I only have Rick's listings from his 2009 Italy guide, but in that, he has these two bookstores:
Libreria Feltrinelli, under the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele. Mon-Sat 10:00-23:00, Sun 10:00-20:00. He notes that while the store is big, the entrances are hard to find: "either enter at Ricordi Mediastore next to McDonald's in center of Galleria and go downstairs, or enter through Autogrill restaurant on Piazza del Duomo, store is in basement level". American Bookstore, Via Camperio 16, near the Sforza Castle. Mon 13:30-19:00, Tue-Sat 10:30-19:00, closed Sun. Tel: 02-878-920

Freshair, I assume that you already asked your hotel if they had any abandoned copies lying around.

We ended up finding one at the Mondadori store right next to the Duomo. (South side)
