In looking for hotels in Rome, there is a Rick Steves Reader Reservation Discount at Hotel Aberdeen. What is that and how do you get the discount?

Hotel Aberdeen does offer a discount to RS readers. Looks like it's currently 15%. Click on Special Offers at top of their webpage and proceed from there. Be sure to compare with any other special offers, such as the 20% discount for late October bookings.

We have received a Rick discount a few times. Once it was applied to our credit card charge, most recently it applied only for cash payment. You might check to be sure. In both cases I had not arranged the discount when booking because I was unaware, but learned about it later. There was no problem.
