Hello,
We are a small family of 3 traveling to Italy in March and in Venice have a reservation at the Pensione Accademia. I am hoping someone can tell me their experience with this hotel. I have a voucher for a reservation at the San Marco Hotel but after reading some concerning reviews, decided it might be worth changing to the Pensione despite the additional cost. Any feedback is welcome.

I loved this hotel and would stay there in a heartbeat if I'm ever lucky enough to be in Venice again.
Our room was small, but it looked directly out on a canal. The hotel was peaceful and quiet, but central and convenient. I selected this hotel for our trip a few years ago because of all the favorable reviews I found. If you need any other recommendation, watch Summertime, the 1955 movie with Katherine Hepburn -- some scenes were filmed there.
