We will be in Sicily for 5 days this December. Would love to know about some great out-of-the-way restaurants.

Sicily is rather a large island. You might get responses if you tell where you will be.

I usually look for a restaurant near where I am at mealtime. It is sometimes difficult to travel across town to find one recommended by another traveler. I ask some locals where they eat. Not a tourist restaurant.

Believe me, you will find restaurants!!! Traveling around, taking taxis, buses etc. to get to a recommended restaurant can take too much time and the money spent trying to find it. You'll find places, believe me. If the menu is in Italian and not in English, thats where you want to eat. Have fun!!!!
