Ristorante Bruno in Positano has wonderful food. Sit outside, across the street for amazing views!

Tom, Ristorante Bruno is on Via cristoforo columbo. Just up the street is a more upscale restaurant called Mela. On the beach is Tre Sorrelle
In Montepulciano Osteria dell'Acquacheta is great. You go there for the steak. The have timed seatings e.g.
12:30, 2:30, 4:30 etc. These times are just examples. Good Luck

If you are in Montepulciano on a Friday or Saturday, you may want to try dining at Gattavecchi Winery. They serve wonderful dinners Above their tasting room. Rustic Italian cooking in a fabulous setting.

We were just in the Amalfi Coast stayed in Praiano. After a day in Capri we took the ferry back to Positano and had a wonderful dinner at La Tagliata https://www.latagliata.com. Check it out, plenty of food, great views. It's atop Positano, all the way up!
