Arrived last night. Rick Steves peeps, any recommendations?
I was just in Ortigia 2 weeks ago with a friend and had an excellent pasta dish for dinner at CASA TRIMARCHI.
We had two outstanding dinners a few months ago:
DON CAMILLO is a long-running, upscale restaurant with prices on the high side, but with wonderful service and food to match. We go each time we are in the city. Their spaghetti with sea urchin is stupendous and I dream about it between visit to Sicily.
LATTERIA DI MAMA IABICA is in Siracusa, across the bridge from Ortigia but close. Very few tourists go there; indoor and outdoor seating.....just lovely. I think you are to phone to book; they have no website but I think they have a FB page.
