We’ll be in Bolzano for two nights in late June before starting a Dolomites hike. Interested in hearing restaurant recommendations, more on the Italian side than Austrian and keen on very good pasta! We’ll be staying in city center without a car. I presume that we will not need dressy clothes, but feel free to set me straight!
If you're looking for pasta in South Tyrol, you should the local speciality schlutzkrapfen. Should be available in many restaurants in town. You could consider e.g. Wirtshaus Vögele, Restaurant 37 or Fink Gasthaus.
Agree with the above recommendations, but would also add Restaurant Laurin. Incredible dishes. https://www.laurin.it/en/restaurant/restaurant-bolzano/6-0.html
