We pretty much only eat lunches in restaurants, and when we were in Florence two years ago most of our restaurants were in San Frediano where we were staying for a month, but we enjoyed one restaurant near the synagogue ---- it is called Acquacotta. Look at the photos, menu, and reviews and see what you think. The people were friendly, I saw no fellow tourists, and I was especially glad that there were interesting vegetarian dishes. We ate there twice.
