We are traveling to Italy in June for the first time, celebrating our older son’s high school graduation. We are a family of four, and our first stop is in Rome staying at a B&B very near the Trevi Fountain. Our flight arrives in the morning so we expect to be in the city a bit before lunchtime. It’s my understanding that most of the food near major sites like the fountain will be “tourist traps”, I am looking for recommendations for restaurants for lunch and/or dinner so that our first dining experiences in Italy will be authentic ones! Preferably something on the casual end and within a 20 minute walk or so from our B&B. We hope to eat and do some casual sightseeing. We have a walking food tour in the Jewish Quarter scheduled for our second day, so something in another area would potentially also be a plus. We have no dietary restrictions. Thank you in advance!
