We will be staying on the RS tour at the Ambasciatori Hotel (March 2) and wondering of restaurant recommendations to reserve when we arrive close to the hotel. Also if anyone has done the Sicily tour were you able to send your laundry out or find a laundromat along the way? Thank you.

I think the Ambasciatori is down between the 4 canti and the station.
Bisso Bistrot (near 4 Canti)
Aja Mola (seafood, near La Cala, the marina).
I think both are not too far to walk from your hotel.
I really liked the Trattoria da Pino (very inexpensive too), but it's near the Politeama Theater, therefore quite a long walk from your hotel. Maybe if you happen to go up that way during your stay, give it a try.

Our favorite in Palermo last spring was Trattoria Trapani, a 7-minute walk from your hotel. Small, not fancy, cozy, family-run, friendly, not expensive, good traditional food. We did not have a reservation for lunch and had to wait, so do reserve if you like the look of it.
