I’ve got Rick’s 2019 book recommendations, but wondering if any of the fellow forum dwellers have any recommendations for a family friendly dinner spot in Vernazza? I’ve got 2 kids under 10, well behaved, but the “romantic” spots near the castle may not be appropriate. Would like to eat outside.
Also—visiting in July, will we need reservations? Have many places gone to online platforms, or just telephone?

Il Gambero Rosso. We have eaten there on 3 trips, and it's always good. The last time, we had 2 young children with us. Indoor or outdoor dining. If you go early, you won't need a reservation.
