Restaurant/food recommendations in Oltrarno

Hello,
We are seeking advice about eating around Oltrarno. Family of five spending a week from Christmas to New year in Florence, from Dec. 26th to Jan 2nd.
Our apartment is very close to Cantina del Gelato Il Gelato Artigianale.
We would appreciate your recommendations on:
-Yummy sit down places that need reservations
-Yummy places don't require reservation (we usually don't make dinner reservations on the day we arrive)
-Area/streets we can walk around for street food/pizza/sandwich without planning (frugal and spontaneous quick eat)

After doing the new year's eve dinner thing at Rome (excellent food BTW and a big bill), we prefer to just eat street food this time and check out the the concerts around. I would think most places still opens on the 31st, just close a bit early?

Thank you!

Our favorite restaurant in Oltrano is Trattoria La Casaliga. It is not fancy but excellent and busy. Reservations a must..It is located near Basilica di Santa Spirito.

Reservations are always advised in Italy, reserving the same day is ok. If you just show up, if it’s only a couple of people they may be able to sit you, but you may have to wait a bit.

December 31 at dinner is super busy and they may have a special fixed menu. Reserve in advance.

January 1 at lunch is busy too, and not all may be open. Dec 26 is a holiday, so some may be closed.
