Has anyone visited or stayed at this new hotel that just opened at 4155 Sestiere Castello? It is owned by the, now closed, Hotel Riva. This is not the B & B with the same name in San Croce.

I am not sure if you have the correct hotel name. I tried to make a reservation for Hotel Riva yesterday and was informed that it was closed. Then I was referred to the owners new place which is called Residenza Angeli d'Oro. The location I was given is Riva degli Schiavoni at 4158 Castello so it faces the San Marco lagoon. I am also interested if anyone has stayed at this hotel and how they would review it.

After sending an email to Hotel Riva requesting a stay in September, I received an email back from Residenza Angeli D'Oro di Hotel Riva. It looks beautiful on the website, but I can't find any reviews on trip advisor. Has anyone stayed here yet?
