We are staying at Cellini near the end of May. I understand it's close the the train terminal. How close is it to other sites,transportaion to other sites ?

Residenza Cellini is situated near the Piazza della Repubblica, which makes it very convenient to that Metro stop... It's one metro stop from the Trevi Fountain Stop (Piazza Barberini) and two stops from Piazza Spanga (Spanish Steps).
It's also easy walking distance to Termini - or, if you wish to ride, the next metro stop going the other way! Very centrally located...

Google Earth is also really helpful with these kinds of questions. It has a little ruler that you can use to measure distances in feet, miles, km, etc. It's not good at showing hills, though.

We stayed one floor down at Residence Adler.It is a very nice place and is about 3 blocks from the RR station.Very walkable to everywhere.

Great hotel! We enjoyed the beautiful room and fine service. Also, a location right near the Metro, for easy access to the Vatican and Forum sites. Nice restaurants nearby, too. Highly recommend Cellini. We stayed last Christmas.

Also stayed a floor below at the Adler, and we walked everywhere, no problems.
We did however take a cab to the Vatican Museum early one morning and walked back.
Great, very safe location you should really enjoy.
