Reserving Galleria Borghese w/ Roma Pass

Help! I know that to reserve tickets to the Galleria Borghese using the Roma Pass you must call. However, when I press 2 for English the prompts are in English but the person answering the phone spoke Italian and hung up on me when I asked if he spoke English in Italian (Parla Inglese?). Has anyone else had this issue? Any help or advice is much appreciated.

You might try making your reservations via email instead? From the Roma Pass website:

"For reservations to the Borghese Gallery, you can call the number +39 0632810 or send an email to [email protected].
For reservations by email, booking confirmations will be provided within 48 hours."

I've recently seen a post (different forum site) by someone who successfully made their reservations that way. If wishing to try again by phone, make sure you're calling during open office hours ROME time:

"The Booking Center is open from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m."

Oh DO make sure you bring your reservation number with you to the museum. They need it to print your ticket. I did not have mine handy and got chewed out by the customer service rep because he had to look it up with my name. A bit of a hiccup. And that was the second CSR I approached. The first one would not do it. :-).
