Hi, i want to reserve a spot, but at the ticketeria site, it appears my only option is to purchase a full ticket. Since i will have a roma pass, I'd prefer not to do that. Anyone figured out how t do it online?
I have read that you should contaxt the Borghese directly by phone to reserve your spot and let them know you will be using the Roma pass. The Colosseum is the same, contact directly and let them know you are using the pass.
If you'll be using the romapass for free entry you'll have to call them for the reservation. There is no way to do it online. You can call them at: 011 39 06 32810 Donna
Look at the website http://www.galleriaborghese.it/borghese/en/einfo.htm and call them. Tell them if you have the RomaPass. I am doing this for my trip in September.

In Florence, our hotel made reservations for us the the Ufizzi and Academie Galleries. We arrived early (reservations were not available before 11 am) and stood in line for 20 minutes or so then got in without them. Saved the four euro reservation fee. Two years ago we went to the Borghese, got there in the afternoon and were allowed in. It was the end of May.
I was in Rome in October and just "walked into" the Borghese-went in the afternoon.
October is slow season so sometimes it is possible to walk up and get in. Most of the time you have to make a reservation in advance. Last month there were signs posted out in front of the gallery saying they were sold out till the next week. It really depends on when you go but it's always better to make a reservation if you can. Thanks, was able to reserve via email!
