I think I'm finally beginning to understand how to use my railpass but want to make sure before I click on any "confirm" buttons. I have the Eurail One Country Pass (Flexi) & from looking at the schedule, need to reserve seats for at least 2 legs. I went to the RailEurope site under "Book Reservations". When it asked what pass I had, I chose "Eurail Italy Pass". Is that correct? (didn't see a choice for "One Country" so this is the only choice that made sense to me). I then ed the class of service, dep & arr points, # of travelers & the date & time. It then brought me to a screen that had the ions & the fees of $11-13/seat. Once I ed from that, it let me reserve the seats & after I entered traveler names, it brought me to a shopping cart with the reservations. It looks like the reservations will keep for 24 hrs. Is this the correct way to get the seats? Do you get an actual seat # (didn't see any) or how does that work? Also, do they mail the reservations? We don't leave until 6/16, but I'm slowly getting into "arghh - not enough time!" mode. How long does it take to get them? Help!
There is no advantage to purchasing a reservation from RE other than the addition cost. Purchase when you get there. Much easier and cheaper.

We're totally flexible with 2 of the legs, but we really need to catch a certain train from Rome to Naples (specific time on a specific day). That's the only one I'm concerned about, especially being in summer. How common is it for trains to be full?
