Reserved ticket for Galleria dell'Academia

I know that on the Uffizi you go to door 3, use your voucher to get the actual ticket, then go out and use it to enter. But on the Accademia there are seemingly only 2 entrances (reserved and not reserved). Should I just get in the "reserved" line and I'm good, or is there another door to get the actual ticket first?

Thanks

I was there last week a wonderful place! In the plaza on the right hand side is a ticket office where you can purchase tickets. If you purchase a ticket there you go across where there are 2 lines.one for reserved and one for tickets purchased on site. We did not have any issues but it wasn't overrun by tourist yet either. We had a coffee and pastry in the plaza and it was very cheap Enjoy your trip.

I forgot to make explicit that I already bought the ticket online and have a voucher. So I'm wondering if I have to get an actual ticket on that ticket office you mentioned or just show up with the voucher on the entrance.

My RS book (Best of Europe) doesn't give a lot of details, as opposed to the Uffizi where he explains every door.

I don't recall if you have to exchange the voucher for a ticket, but you should be able to go to the "Reserved" line, since your voucher is a reservation, and exchange it there. I have done this at other sights in Italy and it works.

Rick's Florence book has more detail and also indicates that you just line up at the reservations entrance with your voucher. If you haven't seen them already, you may want to download Rick's free audio tours and/or the maps that go with them.
