Reservations for Vatican entry available from Vatican?

In an earlier response to a post on 1/08 asking about tours of the Vatican, SamSn replied that the Vatican accepts reservations for general entry. I've only found reservations available from tour operators - if it's possible to obtain directly from Vatican, how/where do I get them?

Go the official site for the Vatican and click to museums. You can get a voucher that allows you to skip the line- I think it is 14 euro. I'll be in Rome in late January and that is my plan. Patti
