Will be in Rome for 3 days in Sept and will be purchasing the Roma Pass. We’ve been to the Colosseum in the past but now want to see the basement that is now open to the public. With the Roma Pass, you must call the 39 06 39967700 phone number to purchase tickets to book the tour for 9E. But I get nothing but a busy signal, even though I try from 6am on.
Has anyone ever booked a tour using this number? Any suggestions on how to get thru to book? With the Roma Pass you cannot book online so am puzzled what to do. Don’t want to book an expensive group tour since we’ve already been to the Colosseum in the past but the 9E tour offered by the Coloseum would be perfect if I could only get thru to them. Any suggestions?

Linda, are you per chance calling with the U.S. international access code 011 ? That number would be 011 - 39 06 399 67 700.
