reservations for the Borghese Gallery

I will be in Rome July 19th and 20th. I wanted to visit the Borghese Gallery, but it looks like I got on it too late. If am reading it correctly, the museum is sold out for regular adult tickets for those days. Could someone please confirm or deny this?

But I'm confused, as I looked at another website and it looked like tickets were available those days, albeit a little more expensive.

I'd appreciate if someone could help clarify what I'm seeing.

Thanks!

Both can be correct. Ticket brokers snap up a good number of spaces for resale. I have often used Select Italy to get tickets when the official site is sold out.

If you noticed on their site they don't confirm the time and ask if you're flexible about time slots or not. This leads me to believe that they will try to buy these tickets as they are requested and may get the same information you've received from the official website. You can try seeing if they can get you tickets but you may need to re-arrange your entire schedule if they cannot get you the time you wish.

You could also contact your hotel to see if they can get you tickets.

The easiest thing is to call the Borghese. They have very good English speakers. Make sure that you call when they are open -- Italian office hours.

At this point you will pay extra for tickets if you find them but since it's the Borghese I say it's worth it.
