I'm trying to reserve three tickets for the Palantine and Modern at the Pitti Palace. How do I do this? Frustrated and Thank you

Other folks may have different experiences, but the two times I've gone to Pitti Palace museums (May one year, Oct last year), I just wandered in. I didn't need reservations. The only places I've found in Florence where reservations are needed are the Uffizi, Academia, and Brancacci chapel. Other museums will sell you reservations, but I haven't found them to be necessary.
