What are the best ways to buy tickets or reserve times for the Accademia (Statue of David), Vatican, and Colosseum Underground Tour? I know all can be purchased in advance to avoid long lines, but I'm not sure how to do them. This is for travel about a month from now, in mid-late August.
Thank you!

You have to call to get the underground tour - it was awesome!

not sure about David!
You should get Rick Steves Italy, which will not only answer your question, but lots of others you didn't even think to ask.

You cannot book the underground colosseum tour online. You must call to make that reservation. You can book tickets and tour reservations at the same time.

Florence museums official website has tickets to both Uffizi and Accademia. They should be 15 euro (11 for ticket and 4 for reservation). You can do both together, which is helpful for time coordinating. I booked via their website with no issues...they give you a printout that you turn in at the ticket office near either one and they print actual tickets to both.
Rick's downloadable tours are good...better than the audio guides at the museum. Only thing is, Uffizi is under renovation so some paintings are moved around (Raphael is now downstairs for ex). That makes it hard to follow his audio guide unless you have his app on your phone - that lets you skip around galleries.
