Reservations

Traveling to Italy for 16 days in 2 weeks. Husband and I have made reservations with a day tour in Rome and a day tour in Florence. Are there any other reservations that we need to make here online before we get there? Just wondering if anyone was glad when they got there that they made some from here ahead of time.
Also.....anyone ever stayed at the Civita di Bagnoregio? Thanks!

You must have advance reservations to see the Berninis at Galleria Borghese.

You really didn't say what was included in the day tours. However besides wha the other poster wrote you need reservations for the Scavi Tour at the vatican. In Florence get reservations for the uffizi and academia. I would strongly suggest you pick up RS book and video if you haven't. see what items are included in your tours and see what you want to see that isn't. Than map it out so that you see scheduel the places that are geographically close in Rome. Florence is a little less of an issue.

If you want to go to the Vatican Museums/Sistine Chapel, it would be a good idea to make advance reservations for that also so that you can "skip the line". http://mv.vatican.va

We have booked 2 tours. One is in Rome at the Vatican, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica. Our tour in Florence is a walk through the town and the Academia and the Uffizi. We just added a reservation for the Borghese Museum...are we missing anything?

Jane,
We also made reservations for the underground tour at the Colosseum. I called so that I could just use the Roma Pass. There are some recent postings about the booking details.
