I am planning to make specific time reservations ahead of time for The Academmia & Uffizi Gallery in Florence on A Thursday & Friday, first week of June. Has anyone arrived later than their alloted time? Do they still let you in or do you have to wait on regular line again....I’m coming from Siena( about 1 hour away), will have to park , take tram to SM Novella Station-& then walkabout 15-20 minutes to these museums.. Planning to leave Siena by car, at 7 for 10:30 reservation to give myself wiggle room for problems with traffic, waiting for Tram , etc..but wonder if I gave us enough time.
Any thoughts? Thanks!

It has been awhile but I thought our tickets only had a 15 minute window. That was a couple of years ago and from reading recent responses many of the former procedures seem to be changing as the crowds get bigger. Hopefully someone will be along with more recent info.
