I am trying to make an on line reservation only to visit the Galleria Borghese and can't seem to make a reservation. The call free phone line is no longer available and the email doesn't seem to work. The reason I only need a reservation is because we will be purchasing a Roma Pass once we get to Rome in May. I am afraid if we leave reserving until we get there we won't be able to get a reservation. To call direct may be a problem as I do not speak any Italian.Any suggestions.

Linda, it is my understanding that the Borghese does not take reservations for dates longer than two weeks out. If I am not correct on this, I am sure those with more knowledge will correct me (PLEASE). And, since we would not pay until we pick up the tickets (also my understanding), I'm sure they don't want to book up with people months and months in advance who would later change their minds. Okay, everyone, am I correct?
There are English-speaking operators, so calling direct is not a problem. We reserved that way and then used our Roma Pass. It was very smooth.
I believe Margaret is correct. They aren't taking reservations for May now and that's why you get no response. Why not have your hotel reserve for you? Almost any will do it when you reserve or later if you email them your desired time.
Does anyone know when they will be taking reservations for May?
