Heading for the Cinque Terre for a few days later this month. Any recommendations for hotels. We have the guidebook but are hoping for additional feedback. Thanks!

There are not many hotels and things are crazy busy this year--I'd get to Booking.com and start looking. All of the reviews there are validated.

I was on a RS tour last September and we stayed at Hotel Albergo Degli Amici. It was just off the main road enough to be quiet but still close to everything. Beautiful roof deck/patio with a fabulous view. Elevators and air conditioning. Nice breakfast.

In May 2019 we stayed at Hotel Marina (a few doors down from Albergo Amici) and it was delightful. There is a rooftop garden where they served breakfast and happy hour. In the lobby they had cold water (still and sparkling) to fill your water bottles for the day.

In Oct22 we stayed 4 nights at Hotel Villa Steno & loved it .. breakfast terrace, wonderful staff. Room#6 has a large patio over the gardens with a view of the sea.
