I had posted on here a couple of months ago, looking for recommendations for a guide for seeing the Palladian architecture of Vicenza. I never got any responses, but I did keep looking. I finally found and corresponded with Roberta Parlato.
We did a 3-hour walking tour with her but she’ll design anything you want. She can get you to all sorts of Palladian villas. She’s extremely knowledgeable about the architecture and the architects and she really helped us make sense of the amazing buildings.
She’s good about providing information to whatever level you want. I think her tours also can focus on art instead of architecture, but she knew my focus was architecture and she was really good about staying with that focus.
She was reliable, friendly, and her English is excellent. We paid $50 per hour.
