Is there any place to be able to rent a car or motorcycle to travel one way for a reasonable price.
For instance from Rome to Krakow, Poland?

Probably not, especially for a motorcycle. The big issue is the drop charge. You can generally drop a car within a country for a few dollars. We recently rented a car in France and dropped at another airport for about $50. If we dropped it in Germany it probably would have cost us several hundred. Remember you are still deal with separate countries and separate states as in the US. The other issue can be whether the rental car has the proper permits/stickers to driven in the other countries.
