I am looking into renting a car to travel from Siena to Assisi. Any suggestions? Can I pick it up in Siena and drop it off in Assisi? I only need it to get there. Traveling in train to the rest of my destinations. Thanks!

There are many rental places in Siena, you just need to find one that allows for drop off in Assisi. Be sure to bring an IDP with you or they will refuse the rental.

Siena has Hertz, Avis, and europecar but they will be expensive. Try the bus http://www.sena.it/Home/78-1-en.html your destination is S. Maria degli Angeli , the same town that the train goes to but calls it Assisi.
