We found out we are planning to arrive at our Italian destination in Perugia on an Italian holiday. It has been recommended to us highly that we rent a car, if just only to get from our farm stay and back to the train. I am curious, since all rental places are closed that day, is it better to get a taxi back and forth the other three days we have in the area, or better to rent the car for three days of traveling? Also, do you think we will have any problems getting a taxi on a national holiday?
