I was looking to see if we can rent a car as we are leaving Taormina on our way to Agrigento. The Europcar rental place have terrible reviews of customers saying it isn’t a real office, no cars available, etc. I know there is an Avis office, but I would never rent again from them. A few years ago we were going to use their rental, but I emailed them several times and they never replied, so I tried calling. They had closed up their shop and never notified us and it was such a hassle, as we needed 2 cars, not just one for our group. HSA rental doesn’t have an office near Ragusa.
We could always train from Giardini Naxos to Catania airport, and pick up a car there. At least the Europ Rental car in Ragusa showed promising reviews.
