Yes, sorry this is the company name. I have seen a post where apparently the rental was dirty and then the follow up to their complaints, non-existant. Thank you for your help I will look up Travel Advisor and see what the comments are.

We used rentalinrome.com a couple of years ago and had no major problems. However, we now usually deal with homelidays.com, since you deal directly with the apartment owner, and there are lots of posts from past customers, so you get a much better idea of whether the listing lives up to its billing.

Slow Travel is the best place on the web to checkout apartments. See http://www.slowtrav.com/italy/vr/list.asp?r=Rome
and sort by agency and you will find about half for and half against rentalinrome.

I booked an apartment with RentalinRome, then changed my plans. I tried canceling and got no response from them for weeks, which made me pretty nervous. It took me over 6 weeks to finally get a refund from them.
