rental cars Italy - nonsmoking cars, Hertz, etc

Hello again. I once again searched and couldn't find anything germaine to my specific question- so your comments are appreciated as always!
Has anyone rented through Hertz in Europe, specifically Italy? I'm wondering if my chances of getting a smoke-free car is better, perhaps because Hertz turns their cars over so fast and has so many new ones available. I have always rented through them here in the states but have never done so in Europe; have usually had no problem getting a car that hasn't been smoked in. Just wondering if anyone who has health issues with cigarette smoke has any experience either with a specific company or in general renting cars in Italy.
Had to post because the questions I posted earlier today were answered for me almost immediately!!

Two years ago I rented with Hertz in Roma through Autoeurope. I would suggest Autoeurope because they are usually cheaper. I also like Europecar. I am also a non-smoker and I cannot remember taking a smoking car ever. Maybe you know this already, but, it is cheaper to pick-up and drop-off any where but the airport. The airport charges a 20% tax and the other locations do not.

Buon viaggio,

Regarding pick-up and drop-off points for a car rental. If you rent from the airport or train station, they are more than likely going to be open on Sundays and/or have extended hours. No rush to return the car. If you rent closer in to the city center in say, Florence, Rome, or any other city that has restricted traffic zones (ZTL), you will have to drive through these restricted zones to pick-up/drop-off your car and you WILL get fined heavily. Although it does cost somewhat more to rent from a train station or airport, it may save you a lot in fines by doing so.

Thanks for the hint about not renting at the airports- had forgotten that- but mostly my question was about the availability of non-smoking rental cars in Italy. If anybody has any experience with that end of it, I'd like to hear it...
