Hello fellow travelers,
Had initial thought to take the Bernini Express from Chur to Tirano on Sunday and drive to the Dolomites. Seems the car rental companies in this part of Italy are closed Sundays. Before I switch up the itinerary to different days, any thoughts?

Would you be okay with bus to Sondrio,, and renting the car from there?

If you want a rental car, you need to pick it up by Saturday at noon. Sondrio is the closest location for major rental companies, however on Sundays all rental agencies are closed everywhere with the exception of any of the Milan airports (LIN, MXP, BGY) and possibly downtown Milan.
