There will be 4 of us returning from a Mediterranean Cruise on 6/8/2024 (Saturday) returning to Civitavecchia. We want to rent a car to spend 6/8 - 6/12 exploring Tuscany staying at a farmhouse in the Siena area. Our flight back home flies out of Rome 6/12.
Want some advice on car rental. I am thinking of rent a car in Civitavecchia and drive straight to Tuscany, and the when done on 6/12 return back to Civitavecchia. Then find some sort of transportation to Rome airport to head home like taxi/private car or train.
