Has anyone leased a Renault for a month or more rather than using a car rental agency in italy

You'll have to compare with the rates of regular rental outfits, like AutoEurope.com and Hertz.com. Most of the leases seem to come out of France. The benefits is that you are not limited to certain countries in Western Europe, and you can take them to places rental companies don't like their cars to go. You can also stipulate where the car's going to be dropped.
I looked into the Renault lease program last year, and didn't find the rates to be very favorable. (I am an ex-leasing manager for a major U.S. auto company.)
