We will be in the Tuscany/Umbria area for Easter in 2016. We'd love to see some of the religious processions/events but don't know the easiest way to find out which towns will have which activities on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Easter Sunday so we can plan our route. We're trying to decide on a good home base like maybe Montalcino, and then explore the surrounding towns, with a visit to Assisi as well. We heard that Assisi will be very crowded during this time, so we are trying to figure out which day would be the best to visit there too. We plan to leave the area on Monday (Pasquetta). Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks!
This may give you some events for Easter week.

Your lodging may also have some additional information.
Mary did you try and google it? When I google it I get lots of suggestions.
Thanks everyone! I'll keep researching :) I'm hoping to find towns within a 90 minute drive of each other where we can see processions and other religious events...maybe I need to contact the parishes to ask this?
