Reliable tour guide/company in Florence and trips from Florence

Hi all,
My wife and I are travelling to Italy in January 2025. We will be in Rome for the first part of our trip and then in Florence from January 11-14. This is our first trip to Italy. Any recommendations for reliable tour guides/companies in Florence? Thanks in advance!

what kind of tour?
food, wine, guided walking tour of the city, tuscany and countryside tour. all day or half days, budget in euros, walking or in a van/bus?
so many options to look at which helps us lead you in the right direction.

Depends on what you want to do /see, and where you want to go. Since Florence is so compact, it is easily visited with just a map and guidebook. Possibly a guided tour of the Uffizi if your guidebook or online audio guides are insufficient. I've been to Florence half a dozen times and never hired a guide. But TripAdvisor will have a list.

Thank you for the responses, most appreciated. I am thinking about a day trip to see the tuscany countryside and Pisa (including climbing the tower).

We did the Best of Tuscany Tour several years ago through Walkabout Tours and had a great time. It’s an all day tour. We did a tour of Sienna, went to a vineyard for lunch and wine tasting, visited San Gimignano and the Tower of Pisa. We are actually going to try to schedule the tour again when we go with friends who have never been to Italy. High recommend it! www.walkabouttours.com.

PS
see you'll be in rome. get away from the hustle and bustle of rome for a tour to a family winery in frascati. 30 minute train ride from rome with guide pick up at train station. this is where the pope has his summer villa and beautiful garden.
