We are a family of five (so need a large taxi) arriving into Venice cruiseport and flying out later that morning. I understand that it can be quite chaotic at the airport and we will need every minute we have. We want to book a fast and reliable land taxi transfer, before we go, to collect us from the ship and take us to the airport. I have looked at veniceshuttle.it but can't seem to find any recent reviews. Has anyone any experience or recommendations? Many thanks for your help

Our ship (Holland America Rotterdam) offered transfers from ship to airport a couple pf years ago. I have no recollection of the cost but you could contact your cruiseline and enquire. Or go to cruisecritic.com and ask there about taxis.

Google "Venice Italy Car Service". You should come up with at least a couple that can probably meet you right at the ship. Friends have used car services (don't remember which one) and they were very pleased.
