Has anyone in the United States successfully registered on the SAIS Autolinee website. I know an account is not required to buy tickets, but it looks like it might be helpful. The problem is the phone number verification step uses an SMS code and I am not receiving it. I am starting to think they do not send verification codes to numbers outside Italy. I already reached out to SAIS and I am waiting for a reply, but I wanted to ask here in case anyone has dealt with this before.

This is from their website explaining why it’s a good idea to create an account:
- seat selection
- ticket history such as date changes and cancellations
- ability to modify or cancel your ticket
- real time notifications about delays and schedule changes
- additional payment methods

All right. Given that list, I would not worry about creating an account.
