We'll be taking the regional train from Siena to Florence around 11am on a weekday in October. From Florence, we'll take the Italo fast train to Bologna. We'll have our backpacks and 3 carry-on bags. A few questions:
- Is the regional train from Siena to Florence crowded?
- Does the regional train generally run on time?
- Is there enough space in front of or under the seats for our carry-on bags in case there is no room in the overhead bins?
- Is it better to buy the Italo train tickets from Florence to Bologna in advance or can we wait to purchase them once we arrive at the station?
Thanks in advance for your replies.
