Going there next june for 10 days for a Skydiving would like to know if anyone can give me any insite to staying in the area?
Hi Gary!
I visited the region last month and had such a wonderful time. While researching where to stay, someone gave me the info for a lovely agriturismo. I wanted to attach the thread for you but now cant seem to find it using the google advance search...If I locate it I will send it!
Anyway I preferred to have something more centrally located, so we ended up booking a hotel in Modena, which turned out to be fantastic. Here is a my trip report if you want to read about the hotel and lots of activities in the area that we did.
The beaches are really beautiful on the Adriatic. We went to a friendly little (but touristy) town called Riccione. Very family oriented, but also some good night-life. Rimini, Catolica, all have nice beaches if you want to spend a few days by the sea!
Most people I know who have been to Rimini say it is full of Italian teenagers and young singles...I was there many many years ago and would tend to agree. Anyone been recently?
